Text Box: The Cumnock Area Musical Production Society, known more locally as C.A.M.P.S., has staged many successful full production musicals, and pantomimes, as well as performing as a choir in numerous concerts throughout the area, and for many local organisations throughout the Cumnock and surrounding area.

Members and volunteers attend C.A.M.P.S. for a variety of reasons. Some dream of becoming the lead in a musical production, others would love to perform on the West End Stage and most do it just because they get great enjoyment from performing or seeing their visual direction on the first night come together.

Musical Theatre also teaches respectively for both children and adults, some of life's important lessons - confidence, discipline and the results of hard work and teamwork. Therefore if theatre or singing is not an individual ambition it also gives children the tools to pursue any number of other scholastic goals.

C.A.M.P.S. meet in Cumnock Town Hall on Monday Nights 7pm-9:30pm. And we would ask anyone who is interested to come along to the Town Hall on Monday Nights. During school term time, we also have rehearsals in Cumnock Academy Assembly Hall on Wednesday Nights. Additional rehearsals are scheduled in the run up to the shows.
